What is a Franchise?

The franchisor will provide the franchisee with all the know-how (all necessary technical and practical knowledge) as well as the comprehensive use of their distinctive brand (marketing). This assistance allows a franchisee to operate their business in the same way as the franchisor. The franchise is thus a close union of brand, know-how and full assistance.

Royalty

The fee paid by the franchisee to the franchisor for the use of the brand, for any assistance and knowledge acquired.

Master Franchise

It may be the "master" of a country or region, that is, the only person or entity responsible for a particular area within a person. A person who purchases an activity for the management of a country or territory purchases a franchise right in that area.

Franchisor

The party that is expanding their business. The franchisor requests royalties from the franchisee in order for the franchisee to use his brand and knowledge. This is possible when the franchisor shares his knowledge (in the form of franchise manual), and the marketing strategy, meaning the franchisor gives his or her partner all the help in business development.

Franshisee

The party purchasing the entry right into an already operating system to be a member of the franchise chain through full use of the brand.
